Subject: Inmate Visitation

Date: January 14, 2021

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department has had to limit inmate movement due to COVID-19. If you are experiencing scheduling issues with the error message “inmate location selected not available” this may be due to your inmate being housed in the unit that is impacted by these temporary changes.

For Attorneys and Investigators to visit you can check-in at the Sheriff’s Detention Center for a video visit or call the facility to schedule an Internet Visit. For BHRS Court Ordered visits please contact the Sheriff’s Detentions Center’s Facility Commander.

All other housing units functions associated with visitation: electronic scheduling, video visitation, and visiting from home will remain unchanged.

Our standards are in place to ensure visitors have a trouble-free experience while visiting. The

opportunity to complete regular visits without experiencing technical issues is our top priority in this process.
